Plecostomus Jones, aka Tim Becker, is an independent Alt. rock / Americana / singer / songwriter with focus on meaningful and illustrative lyrics over impactful melodies and diverse rhythms. Often compared groups like The Decemberists, Radiohead, and The Replacements. Tim is a storyteller, weaving together metaphor with clear and concise statements, creating a flowing vocal ambiance interrupted by the intense emotional resolves of the lyrical hooks and resolving statements. He was raised on and inspired by artists like David Bowie, Fall Out Boy, James Taylor, and Audioslave. He is currently playing locations in and around Fort Wayne as Plecostomus Jones, or in other bands, Formally PlumDingo, Fall Dogs, and Dead Girl Sorry, and currently featured in Electric Bow Tie and Moth. He had been featured in Whatzup Magazine and been a guest on Meet the Music, C-Notes Sugar Hour, and has been featured on Alt 102.3 Local Music Spotlight.

Plecostomus Jones released his first album, “Self Titled”, in October of 2022. His second album, “Good Advice for Bad People” will be released in March of 2025.
