In the midst of dark times, this emerged. The overall text on the wrist obscure the writing behind, with three independent micro stories on each. I feel better now, but every time I look at this I remember the moment that I said fuck it and was just honest, even if it is a little self pitying.

It’s faded now, but I had done this in one night, convinced that if I stayed awake for 36 hours I could get it done, as well as a few other charcoal projects. I still want to take it out and touch it up, and put a far heavier coat of fixative on it to prevent the charcoal dust from coming off on my finger tips.
I found my favorite and most irrelevant objects, a elephant plant holder that I stole from my parents, they’ve owned it since the 70’s, and it terrified me as a child. A vintage Shure Microphone that hasn’t worked in years but I keep around just cause it’s cool. And the first typewriter I ever bought, I intended to collect them, but they are heavy and take up a lot of room, so just the one.
