Pontiac Bass Guitar

This guitar was built to model a friend of mine’s 1954 Pontiac Chieftain - Including the Cheetah print on the lower panels and the faded original blue paint under the coat of flat black. The circle around the controls is based off the clock and the dash area, and the orange face is based on the hood ornament. The general Shape was CNC carved and the details were hand carved, including the face. Its joined the car in a few car shows ( because, why not ).

“Nashville” Detail and Age Guitar

An Anegre Top and Back ( thick too, nearly a 1/2”) with a Poplar Center to reduce weight. CNC Carved and details hand carved. I was attempting to make an easily reproducible model that didn’t require insane amounts of hand work, and was lighter weight than my 6 String Basses that I had made previously. These are still relatively heavy, but they look and play amazing. Its incredibly important that form meets function on these guitars. I have far too many discerning guitar players in my life to hand them a pretty guitar that plays terribly, or the intonation is way off. This is one of my personal favorites, and I often play it instead of my PRS that has always been my favorite to play out.

“Austin” Fancy and Prissy

An Anegre Top and Back with a Poplar Center to reduce weight. CNC Carved and details hand carved. I’ve always loved “certain” telecasters ( my favorite was a squire tele my friend would let me play, modified with a tremolo), others were stodgy, and didn’t have a lot of give, Even with the maple fret board. I am not sure what causes that, but it doesn’t exist on this one. This is one of the easiest guitars I’ve ever played, as well as being pretty. The laser etched balsa wood pickguard is one of my favorites, and matches the etching on the Hardware perfectly.

“Blue” Cause it’s Blue

An Anegre Top and Back with a Poplar Center to reduce weight. CNC Carved and details hand carved. This is just a workhorse guitar, bare bones ( 2 volume and 1 tone ) and a conveniently placed switch.

Walnut and Poplar 15” Speaker Box

Cherry Custom Pedal Board

This was a pedal board made specifically for my favorite pedals, by the time is was done, I had a whole different set of favorite pedals, but this board still remains my favorite. Carved on a CNC in (3) parts and assembled. Stained and Clear Coated.

Bench for My Parents

This was a Christmas Present we built for my parents years ago. It was made of teak, and hand built. All the green detailing was carved and filled with Dyed Epoxy.

Patchwork Guitar

This Guitar is still in its natural state, Still needs sanded and stained, but was a lovely exparament in machine carving and hand carving. One day I may finish this project, but for now, its just a interesting image.
