Pictures from San Francisco 2004
I took all of these on an old Canon SLR with 35 mm black and white film (D40) . It was my first time there, and I was a true tourist, taking pictures in the middle of the street while cars honked, finding every little thing interesting, talking to everyone. I’m glad the pictures made it, there is no fear greater than watching all your film get X-rayed before getting on a flight, I was unsure whether or not it would expose the film and ruin every image.

Mostly of my friends, and some strangers. It was a weekend trip to go see Primus, and we spent the rest of the time causing mischief and sleeping.
These are a few of the Pictures I did when I had access to a Studio and some strange locals, like a ballroom in Marshall Michigan that had remained untouched since it was closed in the 1920’s, or (Not pictured) a decrepit mental asylum in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where they would let you in a look around if you just gave them enough notice.
